The Krungle Bungle Range runs north-east for 19 kilometres from Mumbedah Hill, near the intersection of the Kanangra Road and the Emperor Fire Road to Wallaroo Point at the junction of the Jenolan and Coxs Rivers.
High points along the Krungle Bungles include Mt Krungle Bungle, Mt Guouogang, Mt Queahgong, Mt Jenolan, McAviney, Mt O'Reilly
The Krungle Bungles can be walked in a long day or over a couple of days. Water needs to be carried. There is water in Mumbedah Creek just after it leaves Mumbedah Swamps and from after rain a bit in a small creek between Mt Krungle Bungle and Ferny Flat.
There is an old aeroplane crash site near the Mt Queahgong summit.
