This beautiful walk starts and finishes at Airly Gap, a lovely camping area the marks the main entry into Mugii Murumum-ban SCA.

The walk explores Airly Turret and the amazing Pagodas to the east, returning over the southern shoulder of Genowlan Mountain and down the gully north of Airly Turret.

Airly Turret and the Eastern Pagodas are mostly huge smooth pagodas. Beautiful rainforest gullies separate the pagoda outcrops. On some outcrops there are long terraces to be exlored. In places there are amazing, delicate iron-stone rock formations - make sure you do not damage them.

Pagoda exploration always involves route finding though the maze of passages and lots of scrambling - this area is no exception. Lots of care is needed in the exposed areas and above the high cliffs. The GPS Trace shown on the satellite map shows one route through the pagodas - yours wil probably be different.

There are many vantage points to enjoy the spectacular views over the Capertee Valley, Airly Turret and the Genowlan Mountain cliff lines. The best views are from the top of Airly Turret and from the large pagodas near the southern cliffs.
