Christys Creek between Dione Falls and Margaret Falls, flowing through the Myles Gorge is picturesque - a series of beautiful waterfalls, cascades and gorgeous pools.
This section of Christys Creek is only seen by canyoners who abseil down the waterfalls.
The trip starts at the Kanangra Walls Road and heads down Dione Dell to the Christys Creek junction.
From there it's down Christys Creek to the top of Margaret Falls. A series of waterfalls are negotiated by 4 or 5 abseils. The waterfalls are separated by lovely sections of creek with pools and cascades.
The walk out is up a spur that heads East up to Pindari Gap, up through Wallaby Pass and back over Pindari Top and Marrilman Heath to the Kanangra Walls Road, 800 metres east of the Thurat Fire Trail.
Even after all the dry weather there is still some water flowing out of the montane swamps and bogs near the source of Christys Creek and Dione Dell.
