Dione Dell is a small creek that between Dione Top, Marrilman Heath and the Kanangra Road. It rises in swampy ground near the Kanangra Road and quickly flows down to join Upper Christys Creek just after it plunges over Dione Falls.
In the course of its short journey the creek passes through swamps, dense undergrowth and woodland and a steep, narrow valley, crossing many cascades and small waterfalls.
Most people who visit Dione Dell are canyoners heading down to abseil the waterfalls in Myles Gorge as far as Margaret Falls.
Dione Dell is beautiful, even if you don't abseil.
