Whalania Creek Junction

Whalania Creek Junction is where Whalania Creek flows into Kanangra Creek.

Memorials to Norbert and Bert Carlon have been placed on a rock face not far from the junction. The Carlons were pioneer settlers, stockmen and bushmen in the Megalong-Burragorang areas.

Routes in and out of Whalania Creek Junction include the Paralyser East Buttress, Moorilla Buttress and Bullagowar Ridge.

There are a couple of clearings suitable for camping.

Giant Stinging Trees grow along the banks of Kanangra Creek at this location - try to avoid them.
