Walls Pass provides access from Cedar Head on Narrow Neck Plateau down to Cedar Valley.
The pass was discovered in 1889 by the Wall brothers during the Oil Shale period. They had mining leases in the area and used wooden ladders to climb through the cliff line.
Walls Pass was rediscovered by Wilf Hilder in 1966.
Chains in the rock make the climb up or down the pass easier. A safety rope is advisable because of exposure.
