In 1991 Tracey Taylor-Young died in Nepal after slipping while crossing an icefall.
Later that year her friends placed a Park Bench on a very remote rocky outcrop over looking the rugged Cedar Creek Valley as a Memorial to Tracie.
20 of Tracie's friends, all dressed in formal atire, made their way along Narrow Neck Plateau pushing a wheel barrow holding the Park Bench. A service was held at the site.
27 years on and the Park Bench is still there and in very good condition.
