Thurat Tops is part of the Boyd Plateau, located north of Kanangra Tops, south of Sally Camp Creek and east of the Kanangra Range.

The area includes Queen Pin, King Pin, Camp Knoll, Mt Thurat, Mt Danae & Bald Harry.

There are a number of terrific lookouts overlooking Kanangra Gorge, namely, Misty Point, Spire Head, Gentles Lookout and Seriphos Cliffs.
