The Great Wall is a sloping wall of pagodas that runs north-south along the western side of Mt Airly for more than 1 kilometre. There is a sheer cliff line a little way below the pagodas.
The pagodas along the western edge of the wall are huge with perpendicular sides. There are only a couple of routes through the wall. The wall can be traversed north-south.
There are extensive views to the south, west and north from the tops of the pagoda outcrops.
