The Fort is a rocky outcrop surrounding spot height 935 on Fort Ridge, 2k south-west of Mt Airly.
It is a bushwalker's playground - pagodas, slots, ramps, twisting passages and long views.
If you look carefully you will find mossy slots with hidden orchid nurseries, ledges with nesting kestrels and beautiful forest glades and high rocky platforms allowing panoramic views in all directions.
Well worth a visit if you love pagodas.
