Tarros Ladder

In the early 1930s Walter Tarr placed a bush ladder down a crack at the end of Narrow Neck Plateau. It became known as Tarro's Ladder.

The original Tarro's Ladder was destroyed by fire in 1939. The Ladder was replaced in 1940 by iron spikes.

Taros Ladder is the main link between Clear Hill and the Wild Dog Mountains but Duncans Pass does provide an alternative route.
