Table Rock Trig

Table Rock Trig Station is surmounted on a rocky outcrop on Table Mountain, about 8.6km south-west of Hampton.

Footholds have been cut in the rock at the eastern end of Table Rock to help with the exposed scramble up to the top. Thewre is another route on the southern side that is perhaps more exposed.

There are wonderful panoramic views from Table Rock.

in the past, visitors to Table Rock have engraved their names and initals into the soft sandstone surface at the top.
