Point Hatteras

Point Hatteras is a promontory on the north west side of Genowlan Mountain.

The western side of Point Hatteras is defined by high cliffs, mostly impassable. The eastern boundary comprises layers of pagodas. Once a way has been found through the cliffs, walking is fairly level and the bush is quite open.

The Ladders Defile and The Grotto canyons provide a route through the pagodas.

There are many vantage points on Point Hatteras to take in the fantastic views.
