Mt Danae is located approximately 2.7 kilometres east south east of Mt Thurat.

Mt Danae is on the easiet route to Gentles Lookout and the Seriphos Cliffs.

Walking is fairly easy in the open forest areas but there are some spots where the heath is quite thick.
