Cave Art at Mt Clarence is a reminder of the Aboriginal Culture in & around Lithgow.

The Art includes hand stencils, some quite small. The stencils are located in caves or overhangs. There are a lot of stencils in the overhangs.

Weathering of the rock surface make many of them hard to recognise.

The stencils are extremely fragile. Without preservation they will fade away leaving no trace at all.
