Kittani Point

Kittani Point forms part of the Kittani Rim, the rimrocks on Kanangra Walls, from Kanangra Brook to Johnsons Point. Kittani Point is between Tallai Rib and Johnsons Point.

There are 2 levels to Kittani Point with wonderful lookouts on each level. A short detour off the Kanangra Falls track leads to the lookouts on the top level. The vantage points on the lower level are harder to get to but give different views because they are further down the bluff. A pass on the eastern side of the Kittani Top rimrock leads to the lower level. There is thick heath to negotiate whether approaching over the top from the Kanangra Falls track or from Tallai Rib.

There are some amazing views from Kittani Point but extreme care is needed exploring this section of Kanangra Walls. Many of the rock walls are cracked and pieces come away easily. A mishap could be very serious.
