Kanangra Brook rises just 3.5 kilometres west of Kanangra Walls near Rocky Top and Kanangra Pass. It flows east past Kittani Top before plunging over Kalang Falls. A short distance later Kanangra Brook plummets down a series of waterfalls into Kanangra Gorge to join Kanangra Creek.
This series of wateralls is very popular with canyoners.
Kanangra Brook has a short canyon section just below Kalang Falls. There is a chain of lovely pools and cascades before the canyon reaches Kanangra Gorge and the creek drops into the valley below.
A track (with lots of steps) has been constructed to allow visitors to Kanangra Walls to see Kalang Falls and perhaps explore Kanangra Brook above the gorge.
There is a negotiable route, downstream from Kalang Falls but before the gorge, that allows access up onto Tallai Rib and Kittani Point.
