Big Misty

Comments:

Big Misty is a mountain at the southern edge of Thurat Tops and overlooks Kanangra Falls and Thurat Spires.

Southerly winds often produce mist over the area, hence its name.

Easiest access to Big Misty is along Thurat Walls from Kanangra Falls. Generally it is easy walking although in some places, thickets of dense montane heath make progress slow and navigation tricky.

The route to Misty point and Spire Head goes over Big Misty.
