Banshee Tops
Banshee Tops is a large plateau at the southern end of the Boyd Plateau extending from Wheengee Tor across Mt Pallin to Ghosts Mountain.
It is mostly open forest with numerous granite outcrops. There are hints of tracks and some cleared areas.
I've seen more large snakes around Banshee Tops than in other areas I've explored. On my last trip through the area, each rocky outcrop had 1 large snake that disappeared into the cracks between the rocks as I walked by. I found a 2 metre skin on 1 outcrop.
There are only occasional views from the highest outcrops. Even so, it is an interesting area to walk through.
