The Toothed Helmet Orchid is small and easily missed. It has a single deep red and green flower. The stem grows through a single heart-shaped green leaf. The flower can be erect or leaning back.
The Toothed Helmet Orchid grows in sheltered locations in moist forest from the NSW mid north coast to the south coast, from the coast to the gorges of the Great Dividing Range.
Toothed Helmet Orchids are part of the Helmet Orchid Alliance.
