The Diamond Python is a large non-venomous snake. It is usually yellow with a tight pattern of black spots and larger yellow spots on black, roughly diamond in shape.
The Diamond Python is found throughout eastern New South Wales and southern Queensland.
Diurnal & nocturnal. Terrestrial & aboreal. Catches & eats mammals, birds, other reptiles & amphibians. Can be seen basking in the sun.
